THE ORDERING PROCESS
- How to Use the Lightmart.com Site
Navigate through the site by using the menu on the left side of the page or in the top header section.Click the small picture in any category to be taken to the product's main information page. Once there, pricing and options are listed under the product's description. Choose options from the drop down menus and then input the quantity desired. At any time, access your shopping cart to view you current order to move on to the actual ordering phase. Follow the simple directions to add your shipping info and payment. You will receive an order confirmation via email within fifteen minutes.
- What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
24 hours a day, on the website, customers can order using VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER credit cards.
- What Are the Shipping and Handling Costs?
If your order total is less than $500, you will be charged $9.95. If your order total is more than $500, shipping is FREE!!! Free Shipping does NOT include all poles and fluorescent fixtures. Please call to get a freight quote for poles and fluorescent fixtures.
Lightmart.com's standard shipping is UPS or truck-freight equivilant for large orders. If you would like to expedite the shipping, please contact Lightmart.com IMMEDIATELY so that your Account Manager can provide you with the precise upcharge for this service and to ensure that your order arrives to you when you need it. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the United States need to be placed with an Account Manager. Please call Lightmart.com during normal business hours at 800-443-8254.
- What About Tax?
NO TAX CHARGED ON ORDERS OUTSIDE ILLINOIS!!
Orders shipped within Illinois will be charged the standard sales tax for their area.
- What Happens After I Order?
Every order is processed manually by your Account Manager which will be assigned to you at your first order. Your Account Manager will contact you within 24 hours to let you know the estimated shipping date of your order. Once your order ships, you will be contacted again with tracking numbers to ensure a smooth delivery.
- How Can I Track My Order or Get A Copy of My Invoice?
It's very simple! Once you sign into your account, you can see current tracking information or view your current and past orders. Using our website is easy but if you have any questions, please call Lightmart.com and we'll be glad to help you out.
- When Will I Receive My Order?
Each product's normal lead time is listed within the product description. However, on occasion, orders will be shipped earlier or later due to inventory contraints. Your Account Manager will contact you within 24 hours of placing the order with the estimated shipping date(s) for your item(s).
- What Happens When I Get My Order?
CHECK YOUR DELIVERY CAREFULLY!!!Freight carriers are required to wait for you to check your complete delivery for damage. If you do not notate any damages on the shipping receipt, it will be very difficult for Lightmart.com to make a claim with the freight carrier. This may negate your ability to receive replacements for your damaged goods. So, PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT AND NOTATE ANY DAMAGES ON THE SHIPPING RECEIPT!
- What If There Are Problems With My Order?
Breakages, incorrect shipments, and other problems may happen on occasion. If so, please contact your Account Manager or Lightmart.com IMMEDIATELY. Any issues not reported within14 dayswill not be considered valid by Lightmart.com. Lightmart.com strives to resolve all order issues within 24 hours.
- What is the Lightmart.com's Return Policy?
Lightmart.com will honor returns if notified within 14 days of the delivery date.Once notified, goods must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. A restock fee of 25% covers the repacking, restocking, and inspection costs. The return shipping cost is paid for by the customer.

Yes! We stand behind our manufacturers and all of our products. We provide a 1-YEAR warranty on all of the products we sell. However, most of our manufacturers have longer standard warrantys which cover the products after one year. For more information, contact Lightmart.com or your Account Manager.

Only if you're a licensed electrician or contractor. Lightmart.com highly reccomends that only qualified electrical professionals install any of our products. Lightmart.com may reserve the right to negate the refund of any damaged goods that were not installed by a qualified lighting professional.
